Sarah is 4 years old!

I cannot believe that it has been two years since I began this blog! My little Sarah is not so little anymore. It is amazing to look back at two winters ago and see the changes. This post is devoted to Sarah's 4th birthday party at (you guessed it) Amerisport Gymnastics! She has been gymnastics obsessed since her party last year and would hear of no other location for this year. Sarah was as wired as I have ever seen her in the days leading up to the party. We did have a few complications on the way there as you can see below.

She was a little too overzealous with the headphones and got them tangled with her hair bow (mom's nightmare). She threw such a fit about her hair! I had to snap this photo for posterity before bringing the Sarah hairdo back to life.

Once inside the gym, her spirits lifted considerably.

As her friends began arriving, we snapped some cute photos. Sarah and Maura...

Sarah and Avery. I crack up every time I hear her say "Sarah Coleman". Her dad says she is "Sarah Coleman" obsessed!

Listening to instructions before beginning to play.

Caden making himself at home in the foam pits.

Nico liked the foam as well.

Madelyn (such a cutie!)

A new hit with the kiddo's this year was the car slide!

Macy loved the trampolines as well.

Wheee!!!
Brandy made a beautiful birthday cake for the party. I bought these figurines at the Disney Store. I am very pleased with how it turned out!
Our little gold medalist. Happy Birthday baby girl!
She was overwhelmed with Disney Princess gifts...and couldn't be happier.
Little sis was happy for the birthday girl as well.
Mamaw and Papaw came up the next weekend for Sarah's real birthday.
Amy and Sarah playing dress up...hilarious!
Daddy dressing in a tree skirt. He looks like a Christmas bullfighter!
Look at all the gifts from family. She better not claim to be bored until Halloween!
Blowing out the candles on the second (and much less elaborate) cake. I am so proud of my four year old. Her tantrums have lessened and she acts much more like a little lady. She is now attending preschool three days a week and is flourishing. She is in the pre -reading stage of recognizing sight words. What a great age! Happy Birthday Sarah!
