Goodbye...for now...

On Wednesday we had our final play date with good friends Julie, Maura, and Tristen. They are moving to Georgia on Saturday for a one year activation of her husband, Brent. We will miss them so much. Julie asked us to come over in the midst of her chaos to have them play one last time. This will explain all of the boxes in the coming photos.

Here are the girls holding hands to take a photo. Believe me, this does not happen often. They are usually running everywhere, playing together for just a few minutes before going back off to play on their own. We know this will change as they grow.

I had to include this photo for two reasons. Check out Sarah playing teacher/explainer to Lily. I am not sure what the conversation was, but she thinks of herself as the "big girl" and tries to teach her friends how to do everything from pee pee on the potty to pulling up underwear, etc. She cracks me up (she is only two and three months older than the other girls)! Also, check out the photographs on the right. My friend, Brandy and sister-in-law, Ashley, took these for Julie. Don't they look great?

Here is the famous "jumpoleener." Sarah talks about this daily, and when I explained Maura was moving, she asked, "is she taking the jumpoleener to Georgia?" We are not sure where she came up with this name, but it sure is cute! I love this age!

Here is Julie with her newest addition to the family, Tristen. He is growing so fast! She is shrinking equally as fast, thanks to Weight Watchers. I admire her commitment.

Here is a rare photo of the girls playing together. They have recently become interested in "playing house." It is nice to seeing them playing with one another and cooperating
Things got quiet for a few minutes... which usually means trouble. Maura slipped into mommy's room and found her new bra! We had to take photos. Julie is such a good sport, she posted the photo on her own blog.

I am sure this is a typical experience for Julie, but I thought I would highlight her day to day experience of a newborn and a toddler. Mom's should receive combat pay for their efforts! She handles it with ease.
Sarah and Maura's last goodbye for a while.

Moms saying goodbye as well.

The Three Amigos

This picture turned out great! I plan to develop this so Sarah can put it in her room to remember her friends when she prays for them at night. Thank you God for giving us such good neighbors! We can't wait for the Allen's return.
